Merced River Ranch Channel-Floodplain Restoration: 75% Design Drawings and Specifications (URS, Corp.)

·         Drawings and specifications outlining MRR channel-floodplain restoration at the 75% level including:

o        Resizing the existing channel within the MRR;

o        A one-time infustion of coarse sediment to the MRR channel, with the potential of extending infusion efforts to the reach upstream;

o        Periodic augmentation of coarse sediment within the MRR, with the potential of extending augmentation efforts to the reach upstream;

o        Excavating dredger tailngs from the floodplain and grading functional floodplain elevations and secondary channels; and

o        Revegetating the regraded floodplain with native riparian vegetation.
